Our annual report and accounts for 2024/25 were laid in the Scottish Parliament on Thursday 27 November 2025.

2024/25 marked Â鶹¾«Ñ¡â€™s second year of delivering our five-year strategy which sets out our aims to achieve progress in all parts of the Highlands and Islands and build on our region’s contribution to Scotland’s economic transformation.

While the overall economic context remains challenging at both national and regional levels, our focus on delivery through a combination of financial and non-financial interventions helped deliver another strong performance.

Overall, Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ approved up to £78.5m investment in 611 projects with a combined total investment value of £177.5m. We enabled businesses and communities across the region to create or retain 765 jobs, including 242 green jobs and 293 in inclusive growth focus areas – disadvantaged areas that require targeted support.
