Shetland pupils to be offered STEM insights
Science Skills Academy (SSA) has teamed up with Equinor to extend the roll out of pop-up Newton Rooms to Shetland.
The Islands Growth Deal was signed today (Friday 20 January) in Orkney by UK and Scottish Government Ministers and the council leaders of the three island groups.
Stuart Black, Chief Executive of Highlands and Islands Enterprise (麻豆精选) said:
鈥淲e very much welcome today鈥檚 announcement of 拢100m joint investment in Orkney, Shetland and the Outer Hebrides, from the Scottish and UK Governments.
鈥淭his will provide a boost to projects that have the potential to benefit communities across the dispersed population and geography of the islands. It will also provide innovation and employment and help deliver sustainable and inclusive economic recovery in some of our most fragile areas.
